Generosity

Maximize your impact
We know generosity can look different to everyone based on their goals and values. That's why we're passionate about providing you with a variety of ways that can help you maximize your impact – such as leveraging opportunities through your family, church or community.
You can also maximize your impact by incorporating giving strategies into your overall financial plan. Strategies like qualified charitable distributions (QCDs) or donor-advised funds can help you financially support the organizations and causes close to your heart.
Let’s talk about how you can maximize your impact while also incorporating charitable giving into your financial plan.
"There's never enough if we measure against the world. But if you look the other direction, there's always someone who has it worse or has less. Generosity is the anecdote to that. Whether we use our money, time or skills – living generously helps balance 'never enough' and 'more than enough.'" – Zac Larson

Description of the Organization: Loaves & Fishes Community Services has been serving our community since 1984. The organization provides healthy food and programs to help people become self-sufficient, such as emergency assistance, car donations, job assistance, and Moving Up, a 16-week intensive class to help clients overcome the barriers that keep them from independence. The organization serves nearly 1,000 families every week from DuPage and Will Counties with grocery assistance and programs for self-sufficiency.
Recently, Loaves & Fishes acquired a second building that will become its food distribution hub. The hallmarks of the building are large refrigerators and freezer rooms. The 30,000 square foot hub is located in Aurora and is currently under renovations; it is expected to be fully operational in the fall of 2021. In addition to food processing, curbside pick-up and online ordering will also be available there. The Naperville location will continue to serve as the grocery market. Additionally, Loaves & Fishes has a satellite pantry in Bolingbrook and also provides delivery to low-income seniors.

Party with a Purpose
Thank you to all of our community members and clients for making this year's "Party with a Purpose" such a success! We had 11 nonprofit organizations present and more than 175 RSVPs for the event. Through everyone's generosity, plus a match of $55,000 from us at IntentGen, there is a total impact of $110,000 going to these local organizations to help strengthen our amazing community.
Thank you @DailyHeraldBusinessLedger for sharing an article and photo about this event in the After Hours Business section! We are honored. Take a Look!
Although the matching portion of our initiative is over, we know the need is great and would encourage people to still direct their gifts to any or all of the local nonprofit partners that participated. To help keep the generosity going, you can make additional contributions. Simply view this file to find links to each organization's website where you can make donations directly.
Compassion counts. Thank you, donors.
We want to thank our clients and the entire community we serve for the support of the IntentGen Financial Partners “Compassion Counts” initiative. Each of the four organizations reached the goal we set forth to earn our $5,000 match, and with our $20,000 added on to all the individual gifts, there is nearly $80,000 going to these incredible local non-profits exceeding our goal by nearly 100%!
This money will be used directly to support organizations serving those in need, in the heart of our communities. Although there are heroes working everywhere right now, these four local organizations are especially important because they offer care for those who are often forgotten. We thank you for giving to one or more of these organizations.
